NOVA is a family of plug and play appliances. There are two product lines, the NOVA M Series and the E-100 Series.

The appliances are sized according to the number of devices they support. In this context, a router , a switch or a server that is connected to the network is counted as a device.

NOVA M-100 Series

The NOVA M-100 Series is packaged as a 1u rack mountable appliance which supports up to 50 or 100 connected devices. The M-100 comes equipped with 160GB disk capacity and two 1 Gps network interfaces.

Each M-100 appliance comes packaged as a secure unit that includes an operating system, SQL database, version control, and servers such as image servers, reporting server, etc.

NOVA E-100 Series

The NOVA E-100 Series is packaged as a 2u rack mountable appliance which supports larger infrastructures with 2000 or more connected devices. Each E-100 appliance comes equipped with 500GB disk capacity and two 1Gps network interfaces.

Each E-100 appliance comes packaged as a secure unit that includes an operating system, SQL database, version control, and servers such as image servers, reporting server, etc.

High Availability Options

There are different types of options that range from a simple back up system to a redundant active standby system.

• Back up System: This is an E-100 that can act as a back up system for upto three E-100s. These systems can back up data and images of the supported E-100s.
• Fail over Redundant Backup up system: In the event of a fail-over, the appliance fails over to the redundant back up system.
• Redundant active Standby Redundancy: This level of redundancy supports hot swappable disks and mirrored data bases to ensure fail safe operation.
